I attended the focus on fitness training camp to try and step up the distance before a 70.3 ironman. Having only completed shorter Sprint distances and an Olympic distance before it was the perfect learning environment to increase the miles (and hills!) in the legs. The camp was brilliant- very well organised and tailored to meet and challenge everyone’s individual training needs all the time in a great friendly and fun group environment. Martin gave fantastic individual coaching out on the bike and feedback during the week which was very helpful when doing the 70.3 a few weeks later. Overall a brilliant week and a fantastic opportunity to learn and push yourself to new found limits! Looking forward to the next one!

I thoroughly enjoyed the 2019 training camp and would highly recommend it. It was very well organised and the facilities were great. Martin and Eoin (swim coach) were excellent. I certainly felt the benefits kick in after a couple of weeks back home. I really liked the way once we were done at 2 or 3 each afternoon we were done for the day. I’ve been on others where you get in from the bike say at 2 or 3 and then get an hour or so break before going out again. It was nice to be able to know you were done and just chill out.

I am so glad I signed up to do the training camp, I really enjoyed it. The week was so well organised with excellent coaching from Martin and Eoin. All levels were catered for and it was great to do the Volcano Triathlon at the end of a week of hard training. I will definitely be signing up for next year.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Focus on Fitness Training Camp, a fantastic opportunity to get to meet and train with an amazing group of people. From start to finish Martin and Eoin had every little element thought out and were available for any questions I had. I loved that each day and session was planned in a manner that catered for varying abilities and experience levels. It was the perfect balance between achievable and challenging and at the end of the camp I felt I had a put in some solid work across all three disciplines. Looking forward to next year already.

I was attempting first 70.3 so decided to attend the training camp as the race was getting closer and preparation was not going well. The camp was brilliant. Great coaching, great facilities, great craic. Everything so well organised in the background. Days were tough but always targeted to the individual. There’s no way I would have got through the race 3 weeks later without the camp.

Amazing opportunity to train in perfectly organized and structured swim, bike, run and mobility sessions. Top class coaching and facilities that gave a real professional touch to the experience
